Hello, my name is Lori Tipton and I am a mother, author, playwright, public speaker, and advocate for the use of psychedelics in the field of mental health. In 2017 I was the first person in New Orleans, Louisiana to take part in an FDA-approved clinical trial of MDMA (also known as Ecstasy) to treat PTSD. This treatment involved multiple MDMA therapy sessions which dealt directly with the most devastating experiences of my life, which include depression, murder, suicide, natural disaster, rape and self-sabotage through drug/alcohol abuse.
